I don't know if you're pronouncing either name right. Alcyone for a boy? al-SIE-a-nee? "SIE" rhymes with "eye." Imagine if it were spelled Alsai-ony or Alsyony. Does that really sound masculine to you?And the "Bry" in Bryony rhymes with "eye" as well, so it's not a "Bree" name.
