I like Bobbi (but spelled Bobbie) on a girl, but I would feel terrible if she didn't have Roberta to use later on in life. There are very few nickname-names I find to be sturdy enough to stand the test of aging.

Quite horrid on a girl, whether it's a nickname or not, but still, I'd prefer to see it as a nickname for Roberta than on its own.

I think it's very insubstantial, but it would be a great nn for the very neglected Roberta.

I can't stand it on a girl (dislike it on a boy too), nickname or not. I'd much prefer to see it as a nickname. Roberta is pretty.

I think it's great on a girl. My favorite makeup artist is Bobbi Brown, and that's a cool name imo.

I prefer Bob short for Robert

It should be a nn, imo.
