I am thinking about this for my son. I just want to know if it'd be ok to use
Xander as a full name or if I should name him
Alexander nn
Xander. The thing is I don't really like
Alex and I'd be worried everyone would call him that (though I guess if I introduced him as
Xander people would call him that anyway). I haven't run it by
Grant yet but a few months ago I mentioned
Alexandra for a middle name for a girl (I told him it would honour my mum) he said it didn't sound like a bad idea so maybe I can get him on board with
Xander or
Alexander nn
Xander. My mum's name is
Sandra and I'd like to honour her and I thought
Alexander or
Xander would be a good idea, though
Skye's initials are the same as my mum's anyway so I guess it might not matter if I DON'T honour her with this baby.
What do you think of these combos?
Alexander Leo or
Xander Leo (
Leo is after my grandmother,
Leonie)
Alexander Michael or
Xander Michael (I don't like
Michael, but
Grant does)
Alexander Alan or
Xander Alan (
Alan after my grandfather, its also my dad's middle name)
Thoughts?
