BA and sibsets
In the newspaper this week, parents welcoming their son Bob AxelSibset sightings:
twins Vincent and Viggo (1)
twins Emma and Elin (4)
sisters Ebba, Ellen and Elsa (not sure how old they were, Elsa was about 7)Alitterations seem to be popular. Personally I'm not a fan but as long as the names aren't too similar I guess they are ok.
I really dislike Bob Axel. Axel is quite nice and it's a bit of an upper class name but Bob? I just think the sound is really unattractive.

I like Vincent and Viggo.I agree that Bob seems -- "blah." At least with Robert he could be known as Rob, which I think sounds a little more handsome.

Oh, you pronounce Elin and Ellen the same?
Here, Elin and Ellen are two different names and they are not pronounced the same. I doubt people even know they are different forms of the same name. Elin - eh-LIN (E like the E in Eric and Lin like Linda)
Ellen- ell-EN (EN like En- in Enya)

Wow, Bob Axel? I agree, it's a really unattractive name. They also made it his full name, so he cannot choose a different nickname.Vincent & Viggo are not names I'd put together, but I like them separatelyLots of E-names for the girls! I like Elin and Ellen.

How unfortunate to hear Axel paired with Bob! From an American point of view Axel is one of the most interesting and unusual names you could use, and Bob is one of the most boring and uninterested. I hope they call him Axel!
