Francine
My sister has a friend who named her daughter Francine. I prefer Frances, myself. Francine seems like a needless elaboration of Frances to me.What do you think of Francine? Would Frances be better?

Frances is my absolute favorite female name.Regardless, I think Francine is refreshing.

I'd go with Frances, or maybe Francesca as a more elaborate option, but I never would have even considered Francine. Not that it's horrible, just so dated.

I only imagine Arthur's friend Francine (from the children's books/ cartoon) when I hear the name. I much prefer Frances myself, but I suppose there is a certain appeal.

Although I prefer Frances because it seems less dated, I like Francine. There's something "so uncool it's cool" about it.My only female cousin (born in 1987) is a Francine, and she's a doll, so I'm probably biased.
