Amy
What do you think of Amy? Dated? Ready for a comeback? How many do you know? Any babies or young kids?

Not dated at all, completely classic.
I first think of a little blonde-haired ringlet girl in the 1800's from Little Women, than of an amazing woman I know in her late 30's named Amy, then a super cool teenager I know named this, and then a little sweet and dainty four year old I know named this.
The teenager and the baby I know are both Amy Elizabeth, a magical combo imo!

It's been growing on me, it's charming and I think it's a classic.
I know quite a few Amys, mostly in their early to late twenties. It's not particularly dated to me, but I can see it being seen as an 80's name. I know one child named Amy. It hasn't really fallen far enough to jump back up for a comeback just yet. All this aside, I really like the look, sound and meaning of the name. :)Though my fondness may be misguided bias because my name is constantly misheard as Amy (a sign of it's popularity, that people expect it).

I love it, my teacher's name is Amy she's the only one I know of.
A nice nickname, but it's too short for a given name. :/
I think it's pretty boring and dated. I know a few Amys and Aimees, all in their late teens/early twenties.
I don't mind it but I prefer it as a nn for something. I have known two.
I love it. I do know a teacher who the name, but she spells hers Aime.
I've known a lot of Amys. The oldest Amy I know is maybe 35, so it's not that "old" of a name.
I wouldn't say it's dated YET, but it's getting there. It will be associated with the 70's/80's before long.
It's okay, I guess. Kind of there for me, but doesn't make much of an impression. It's nice enough.

It certainly isn't dated to me. I went to high school with a girl named Amy. She was a year or so younger than me (I am 20)
I do associate it with being an 80's name, but I think a comeback would be nice.
