Paisley

I'm really starting to like this name. I think it sounds and looks pretty.
I'm actually really into Paisley right now as well.
You can count me in that "most of you." I dislike it, probably because I don't care for paisley in general. I would have the same reaction if you chose the name Argyle or Plaid.
Don't like it at all. Automatically makes me think of hideously ugly 70s clothing. LOL What about Ainsley instead? NMS either, but less associated with a dark time in fashion history. :)
I actually really like that name.. but only on a girl!

Where I live (Scotland), Paisley is a famously low-standard university. (One of the worst performing in the country.) It's also a rather boring industrial town.
So I can't picture it as a name on anyone, though I do agree it's better on a female.
Besides, the Paisley pattern is hideous. I can't think of a single positive connotation :-(

It's too cutesy for me.
love Paisley!!!!! :)

I like it!
I don't really like the pagan connections with the pattern paisley so I avoid wearing it usually and I really wouldn't consider it for a name! *Sorry* Can't wrap my arms around it! :(
It does seem a little humorous to me -- but I do dislike it much less than Presley, which to me seems like an even sillier image to place on a girl.
