When I see Dagan, I keep thinking it should be spelled as Dragan and that someone forgot the 'r'. :-/

Dagan? I like Alia but spelled Aleah, that's pretty! :)

I like both of them, but Dagan only for a boy. Dagan was actually the Babylonian god of the earth (http://www.answers.com/dagan&r=67). I have a friend named Dagan; he pronounces it DAY-gn, and I like it a lot...it's unusual but doesn't seem made up to me (which makes sense, since it isn't).

They are okay. I don't love Dagan. A very good (female) friend of mine is named Deagan, which has actually grown on me.
