Dorothy and Charles

I love Dorothy and like Charles alright. Despite being from Kansas and having to constantly listen to Wizard of Oz jokes, Dorothy as a name still appeals to me. It might help that it was my newspaper advisor's name in high school. I loved her, she was so awesome.
Charles is a nice enough name, though I heavily associate it with a guy I went to high school with. He wasn't a bad guy by any means, but he definitely... made an impression, heh. But since that doesn't affect you, I think it's strong and distinguished enough to be a good name.
As for nicknames for Dorothy, I know Dora is really obvious and has connections with Dora the Explorer, but I still think it's cute. Plus, Dora the Explorer is actually pretty awesome for a kids' cartoon. She's a pretty strong, confident female character. That's always a plus. :) You might be able to stretch Thea, too, if you wanted. Actually, I think just Doro is darling without being twee, so I'd personally go for that.

They are very classy and would make a nice sibset.
That's a lovely sibset. Classy and timeless.
