Marlow for a boy?
The first time I heard the name Marlow was on a TV show and the name belonged to a girl. I've always thought of it as a female name, but while searching names today, I learned it was a male name. I still think it sounds sort of feminine. Am I just thinking that because of the TV show or do you find it feminine as well? And lastly, do you like the name and for which gender?

I think it's 100% male. It's not feminine at all in my opinion. I quite like it for a boy but I prefer Marlon which has a similar sound.
I find it pretty feminine because I'm familiar with it only through Marlo Thomas and another female Marlo. More than anything, however, I find it surnamey, so I think it could be used for either gender. The Marlow or Marlowe spelling both look masculine enough to me.
I don't like it much for either gender, but if I had to pick, I'd use it for a girl and spell it Marlo.

I think of it as male
ditto, 100% male
it could be very cute for either gender, but i think of it as more of a boy's name.
