Would Solarion and Lunaria be good names for fraternal twins?
I'm just curious, but would Solarion (also spelled Solarian) and Lunaria be good names for boy+girl fraternal twins? It's like sun and moon.Or it sounds like so.Please reply. Thanks!

How about Eloise and Selene (sun and moon)? Or Vesper & Aurora (evening and dawn)?

Because they are boy and girl, and from what I understand, Eloise and Selene are both female names. I suppose Vesper could be a male name though.

Whoops!

I know you're looking for distinctly matching names, but as a twin myself I can tell you the kids will probably hate it. I do like the sun and moon meanings, and Solarian and Lunaria individually, but what about more subtle names?Sorin and Aysu (sun and moon)
Cyrus and Selene (sun and moon)
Horus and Lilith (day and night)
Lior and Isra (light and dark)
Lucius and Cynthia (light and the moon)
Samson and Lyra (sun and stars)

Cyrus and Selene (sun and moon)= Excellent idea for real children (I wasn't sure if this was for characters or not). I love Selene and was going to suggest it, too.

If you are writing a certain type of story, I guess having the sun-moon theme could work. I would like them to not have the same "-ario-"/"-aria-" elements, though. It seems slightly repetitive.
How about:
Solarion and Lunara?
" Lunavia
" Lunadria
" Lunata/LunadaI guess I can't come up with anything better. Good luck.

Solarion is a nice name and so is Lunaria.
I think a similar combo that sounds better together would be Orion and Luna

I want to stick to sun and moon.Yeah, but I want to stick to Sun and Moon in LatinGlish because that way people quickly get the picture. Orion sounds too much in outer space and Luna may cause the girl to be bullied as "Loonie" or "Lunatic" when she's in high school. I figure Lunaria is better since it's also the name of a flower that was named for the moon.Solarion, on the other hand, is a corruption of "Solarian", which means "of the Solar System" and would be an effective ID tag if this kid became an astronaut and settled on an extrasolar planet in his early lifetime.(It's a remote possibility in my lifetime, and it will be a good probability in his...)

Hmmm, How about Solis and Artemis? OR Apollo and Artemis?

The theme is screaming at me.Like "LOOK, WE'RE TWINS AND WE MATCH!"If that's what you want, sure. But personally, I don't like matchy twin sets.

Agree, it's too blatant.

There's also Terrana and Arena, Gaia and Solaria, etc. etc. There's a lot more twin set names, such as Terrana (of the terrain, earth) and Arena (hall of Ares, mars); there's Gaia (earth goddess) and Solaria (sun goddess); Helios (sun god) and Luna (moon goddess), Ares (god of war) and Athena (goddess of war)... too many twin sets. Whatcha gonna do about it?

Yeah, I thought about that, and I like it when twins pair up and cause trouble. It could be due to my watching of HK movies with the said plot as a kid...
