Lilias???
I was talking to DH last night about names from his side of the family and we again spoke about how we loved the names of his aunts- Lilias and Marigold- I just love the sib-set:) I usually think about my love for Marigold but all of a sudden, I think Lilias is actually quite stunning. What are your thoughts on the name? I like that it is Scottish (our background on both sides) and I think it seems fresh, spunky and elegant. It goes wonderfully with my son's name but not sure about the whole set together. With Scarlett, Malcolm and Lilias, would Scarlett seem the odd one out? When I say the three together, I think they sound great- it's just that Malcolm and Lilias are so Scottish, while Scarlett is not.

I think it's a lovely sibset, Scarlett may not be Scottish but it still sounds good with the other names.
Also I'm adopting your extra question marks :).

I think the "s" on the end makes it too masculine. All other names ending in s I can think of are male.
I love it!
Sorry I don't care for it and I have tried. I always end up seeing Lillie As*
One commentor on another site said that was the tease she always got so I must not be the only one.

How is Lilias pronounced? I've never known that... But I love the name just from seeing and reading it. I actually think that it makes the whole sibset even more interesting and special (Mary or Elizabeth etc. would make it a bit boring, for example). I'm not British, so I'm not sure if other people would notice, but personally, I don't find that Scarlett would be "left out" because Malcolm and Lilias are so Scottish. I love the sibset!
Thanks:) I think I am starting to really love it as well-
