Okay, so my name is Frances, obviously. :)
Mum calls me Franny Kate :) I like that one best. My boyfriend calls me Cess, which I think is cute.
I've gotten Fran, Franny, Frankers, Frankie, Franklin and Frazzie. Mostly I'm Frances, Fran or Franny though.
I like nicknames. They're like other personalities.

None that relate to my name
Silly madeup ones that haven't stuck for very long. I'm unnicknameable.
I like Chels for you. I also like Sea--I think it's a beautiful word--but I'm not sure if it would necessarily work as a nickname.

My parents called me Tweeters when I was a baby because apparently they thought I looked like a bird. Great.
But that's it. Unless you include being called by my surname or the first syllable of my surname. Because that happened plenty with coaches and stuff. Or one of the percussion instructors in college marching band called me Mrs. R__ (first syllable of my married surname).
My first name really can't be shortened to anything nice. It's always bothered me.

I've had Haze, Haz, Hayzee, Weasel, Hael (basically Hazel without the z) and Fuzzas.
I don't like any of them that much although I can just about live with being called Haze, Haz and Hael. My friends mostly call me Haz and only my brother and sister call me Hael.
My sister has got weird names for everyone, mine is Fuzzas, my brother's (David) is Doodles. We call my sister (Laura) Laulaus.
Not many people call me Hayzee anymore which is good because I hate that! And, thankfully my mum has stopped calling me Weasel. I was called Weasel because when I was a toddler a family member, who was a couple of years older than me, couldn't say Hazel and so said Weasel instead! :(

My mum called me Stina, my friends Chrissy/Chrissi, my cousin Tina. My name is Christina, btw.
I've had:
Jeff / Jeffie - I visited Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia with my 8th grade class and went to a book store like it would have been a long time ago. Every "S" was written as an "F" back then so my name would have been Jeffica instead of Jessica, so everyone started calling me Jeff or Jeffie..
Josh - my niece couldn't prn. Jessica. Instead it came out as something that sounded like Josh, so my siblings started calling me that.
Jet - only one of my sister's calls me that because of one of the kids my sister nannies. He couldn't pronounce my name correctly. It came out as Jettincah. She took of the -incah and calls me Jet.
Jettincah - My oldest sister, the one who nannies the boy that can't pronounce my name, thinks it's hilarious so she calls me it.

Blair Bear =(
My aunt is the only person who'd have the audacity to come up with something like "blairy-may" and then use it in public as well. I let her get away with it, since I only see her once in a blue moon.
I don't like nicknames at all. I've never felt that close to anyone where I felt like they could start calling me whatever they felt like, palling around like that. My name is so short- and how often do we use peoples' names anyway?- is it so difficult to say the whole thing?
My college roommate- who(m) I couldn't stand in the first place- would call me "B" and it drove me up the wall. I wrote a lengthy rant about it- and nicknames in general- on Myspace. =P
She would call our other roommate Katharine- who also hates nicknames- "Kat", which was the NN she hated most. I think she knew we hated it. Hmmm...
I have a very hard-nosed stance about this. My hypothetical future-son, Ignatius, will be called Ignatius, and if anyone calls asking for Iggy, they'll be told no one by that name lives in my house. My mom did the same thing when anyone would call asking for me or my brother by nickname, and I know plenty of other mothers like that.
It may seem silly, but it is what it is.

Based on my name:
Mandy --It is used by family and friends. I like it well enough.
Mandable --It is used by my extended family on my dad's side. I like it because it is a bit funny and I associate it with family members that I adore.
Ama --It was recently coined by the guy I'm dating. I like it because he created it and because of the meaning in Spanish and Latin (it is a form of the verb meaning "to love," which is how Amanda was created in the first place).
Amanda Lynn --It is used by my best friend to make me mad because I thought it sounded like A Mandolin (then we later worked with an Amandalyn...)
Randoms:
Binks --It is used by my parents. I like it, but I would feel weird if anyone else used it.
Turtle --This was briefly used my group of high school friends. It was funny because we all had nicknames.
Shark/Sharky/Sharky Pants --This was used by my coworkers, but not so much anymore because the ones who called me that are mostly gone now. I dig it. Sharky Pants cracks me up! I miss the girl who came up with that one.
Monkey --This is used by the guy I'm dating. I like it because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy. :-D

Some people refer to me and my brother both by our last name because it's kind of rare and very ... cool apparently? I always disliked my last name *sigh* lol
I like Hannah Banana, emphasis on LIKE, not love.
I don't much like the rest.
Hannah Banna I can tolerate, but Hannah Montana is like the ultimate insult. haha

K-Mills - my first initial and last name put together
Kricket - in fourth grade my friends an I picked nn's for our little club. this was mine, because I used to know a girl name Kricket who's real name was Kristen.
Chuckles - my mom would call be this because I never smiled
I never really had a nn, I usually go by Kristen. It never was Kris because I have a cousin Kris. And I am in no way a Krissy or a Kristie.
