I saw the name Ely (which I believe is supposed to be prn EE-lee) once a long time ago and didn't think much of it but it popped back into my head recently. It might be a short form of Elijah / Elias in the same way that Toby is a short form of Tobias. I think I like it but I'm not sure. WDYT?
