I like the spelling Nina

Nina Beth is gorgeous, I prefer something like Nina Marie though

To me they're not the same name, since I pronounce Nina as 'NEE-nah' and Nena as 'NEH-nah'. Here Nina is a nn for Nikolina and Nena for Nevena, Nevenka, Nenada, etc.

I like Nina better since it's more established as a first name (a friend of mine gave birth yesterday and named her daughter Nina).

...Nena simply reminds me of the German singer, plus I find that the spelling Nena looks like a "pseudo-kreatyve" spelling of Nina in English-speaking countries, and according to btn it actually IS while I've always thought it is a German nickname of Verena or similar-sounding names. Well - the fact that it is an English variant of Nina is just one more reason to say: if any, use Nina. I dislike both names, both in German and English. They sound meaningless and boring to me.

As a combo, I would like
Nina Elaine -> Is OK, why not? I'm not too fond of Elaine, though. And the combo is not very... interesting.
Nina Beth -> I LOVE Beth, but Nina Beth just sounds stupid. I don't like that both names only have 4 letters, too, in this case. Sometimes it's nice, here it's not, imo.
Nina Elise -> Is kind of nice, it LOOKS nice.

I love Nina. I'd pronounce Nena NAY-na anyway. I think Nina Beth would sound the best out of those three middle names.

Nena might get some guesses of "Nenna?" pretty often.

Nina. Nena looks weird. I know heaps of girls named Nina, and one named Nena. Nina Elaine or Nina Elise. I dislike Beth.
