Hattie
In one of the classes I teach, there is the sweetest little girl named Hattie. WDYTO Hattie? I think it fits her but I'm not sure if I like the name overall.

It's cute. I knew a girl named Hetty in my school too, which I like even more.
Hattie is sweet as a nn, as a given name it doesn't seem like it would age well.
My four year old neice has a lovey she calls "Hattie". It used to be a doll with a hat, all that is left now is the hat!

I think Hattie is darling. I actually think it might age well, and function well as a full name, because it has that old-lady strength behind it that gives it more power than Minnie, say, or Daisy. Hetty, too, has that potential.
I can't seperate it from Hattie McDaniel. Which isn't a bad thing at all, she was a groundbreaking actress. It just sounds very old-fashioned because of it.
I love it
I adore names that remind me of pioneer days and that's one of them. It's refreshing to hear of it, and I think it's a very sweet sort of name.

I know a Hattie
she's about 19 years old, and it's her full name.
I think it's an adorable nickname, but isn't substantial enough to stand on its own.

I love it as a nickname!
I love Hattie, but only as a nickname. It's too cutesy for my liking as a given name.
Harriet is my favorite full name for it.

I think Hattie is so sweet and refreshing. I love the combo Hattie Mae
I love the name Hattie as a nickname, but I can't say it is great as a full name. I don't think it ages well as a full name.
I don't think it's very attractive at all. It doesn't sound like a little girl to me. It sounds like a 90-year-old woman with a mean mouth.
Lol, agree
