not his fn. Actually it is not even his real surname but this is beside the point.
Since such occupations names are aldready popular in USA (like
Taylor,
Tyler,
Mason,
Carter etc), I am sure
Sawyer will be popular too. And parents say "oh, it is so cute for a girl".
I don't like such names as fn and espcecially not for girls. But I am European and old-fashioned.
I wonder if
Carter got popular b/c of the TV series ER? But this
Carter was named
John Carter, so
Carter was a surname here too.
