When I first read
Oswald, I didn't like it. I thought, "Perhaps as a middle name, though..." and then started thinking about combos with
Oswald in second place. And right away, I realized how awful that would look. So then I gave it another chance in the first name position, and was amazed at how hip it suddenly seemed.
As a middle name,
Oswald totally looks like the mutant child that the family wants to hide away in the attic - but in the front, it becomes so incredibly edgy and fashionable.
So, in conclusion, I like it, lol! I quite agree with Bear's feelings of Gothicesque charm it has. It's so upper-class and has a feeling of old secrets to it.
