Edmond/Edmund
I'm on and off about the name Edmond. I don't like the spelling of Edmund as much at the moment, but I could come to love it. Edward is ugly for me, just to put that one out there. What are your thoughts on Edmond and Edmund, nn Ned? Any combos that will make me swoon?

Never been a fan of Edward either, but Edmund I really like. Ned does make a cute nn too. Some combos I like are:Edmund Harry
Edmund Felix
Edmund Asher
Edmund Hugo
Edmund Rhys
Edmund Toby
Edmund Isaac
Edmund Oscar
Edmund Seth
Edmund Gabriel
Edmund Leopold / Leo
Edmund Lawrence
Edmund Caleb

I love Edmund (Edmond isn't bad). I really dislike all other Ed- names, thinking I only like Edmund due to him being my favorite character in the Narnia books. I don't like Ned, but it's much better than Ed or Eddie (which is why I refuse to use it as a first name).

Edmund is much better than Edmond, in my opinion. Edmond sounds harsher somehow.Edward... No. That's been spoiled by legions of Twilight fangirls. It's probably going to peak in popularity, though I'm not sure... It's old-fashioned and all that, but Edmund is much, much better and the association with the character is unpleasant.

Edmund Vladimir and Julien Astrophel are tied for if I ever have a son, so of course Edmund Vladimir is my favorite Edmund combo. The nn Ned is wonderful! Were you looking for Hebrew middle names? I'll use Hebrew names and names from my male name list-You know what I love about Hebrew male names? Some of them end in an a, and they still sound masculine.Edmund Akiva
Edmund Alter
Edmund Anath
Edmund Ariel
Edmund Asher
Edmund Aviya
Edmund Baruch
Edmund Boaz
Edmund Daniel
Edmund David
Edmund Diklah
Edmund Efraim / Ephraim
Edmund Eli
Edmund Elijah
Edmund Elior
Edmund Faivish
Edmund Falk
Edmund Fayvel
Edmund Gavrel / Gavriel
Edmund Herschel
Edmund Hillel

I am opposite. I love Edmund but dislike Edmond, though I could come to like it. I don't like Edward either. If I was to choose a nn for Edmund it would definately be Ned, but since I don't really like that nn either I stick Edmund in the mn slot.ETA: I also don't like that Edmond makes me want to pronounce it Ed-MOND instead of Ed-MUND.
