I added Mary to my list awhile ago after thinking about it for a long time.
I like it as the first of two middle names. (____ Mary ____)
Currently my favorite Mary combos are Mary Aviva and Mary Safiyyah
Of yours, I like:

Edith Mary (would prefer Mary Edith, I think)

Mary is beautiful! It's such a sweet, innocent name, and it's not used much anymore. Of your combos, I like:
Mary Clara
Ada Mary - I've never thought of using Mary as a mn before. The whole combo is so adorable.
Eleanor Mary
Mary Louisa
Mary Augusta
Edith Mary - Though this combo may be too old, IYKWIM.
Mary Lenore - My favorite Mary MN combo.
Mary Elspeth - Though it has the same problem as Edith Mary.
Susannah Mary
Mary Clara

I absolutely love Mary. Im not crazy about any of your combos though my fave is Mary Margaret.
Mary Margaret is gorgeous!
so cute!
so cute!
Mary Margaret is too Catholic Nun for me
Ditto.
I adore Mary!
It brings to mind a sweet innocent little girl (much like the Mary from Little House on the Prairie!)I would actually use it in a heartbeat if I could! My oldest, dearest combo is Mary Augusta (surprised to see it on your list!) My other favorite combos are Mary Susannah, Mary Amelia, and Mary Kathleen. Mary really just makes many names sparkle!
I also rally like:
Mary Caroline
Adah Mary
Eleanor Mary
Mary Josephine
Mary Louisa
Mary Elspeth
Probably my favorite combo ever though (besides my old tried and true beloved Mary Augusta) would be Beatrix Mary, something about this combo just makes my heart soar. In fact this is the combo I would push for....except that I really want to use Rosemary as a first for another daughter, and I think Beatrix Mary and Rosemary might be too matchy!

They all sound like they are from the early 1900's.
But i think Marie/Mary is a nice name paired with a more "Modern" (without being trendy) name.

I prefer the older sounding names to be honest. I rarely like modern combos and then they use old names and just sound fresh.
I do not find it boring at all. To me, it is french and bold. My favorite combo is Mary Ruth, but I also love:
Mary Alice
Mary Emily
Mary Olivia
...and I LOVE Mary as a middle name.
Beatrix Mary
Caroline Mary
Cecilia Mary
Charlotte Mary
Emmaline Mary
Georgiana Mary
Imogen Mary
Isabel Mary
Julia Mary
Olivia Mary
Winifred Mary
One of my great-grandmother was named Fern Mary.

No, I have never read or seen Twilight. I know it from somewhere else. I am thinking it is just a really popular combo, because I looked it up trying to find out what I knew it from and it came up with a ton of famous people with the combo.
Sorry, i meant to say "fresh," not "french."
Haha
I was wondering where the French part came in. I just thought maybe you were being eccentric.

I love Mary. It's so sweet and charming and classic. But yes, a bit boring and needs a nice middle name. Or first name.
I like all of those names! But I don't think Mary Clara or Mary Caroline sound the greatest because of the rhymeyness of vowels. The rest are great though! My favorite Mary combo is Mary Olwen.

Good point about "rhymeyness of vowels"
I love Mary as a fn, it is beautiful in its simplicity and refreshing, but without a sensational mn it can fall back into the boring and dowdy pile.
I like Mary Caroline, Eleanor Mary, Mary Augusta, Susannah Mary and Mary Lenore. I think Mary Lenore is my favourite of them all. How about Mary Leonie? I just think it has that something extra to liven Mary
