Only on a girl. It's kind of cool, but not tacky, in the right family and sibset.

I don't like it on either gender. The meaning is awful, the association to the "Kennedy Family", is way too strong.

I absolutely love Kennedy for a girl. Kennedy Rose is a beautiful name.

When I was in High School, my friend and I thought that Kennedy would be the coolest name ever for a baby girl. I'm not so sure any more - it means "ugly head", which would be a blow to little Kennedy's self esteem in those awkward pre-teen years.

I have always liked it for a girl. I wouldn't use it, but I do like it.

I think it's a surname
