WDYTO Alaric? (longish)
I'm starting to like it but I'm not entirely sure. Would it be inevitable that an Alaric would end up with a nn? What would you pair it with? Here are some possibilities I've come up with:Alaric Baudelio
Alaric Democritus
Alaric Prometheus
Alaric Faustino
Alaric Fernao
Alaric Franz
Alaric Iago
Alaric Johannes
Alaric Leonard
Alaric Marius (how would you pronounce Marius?)
Alaric Orestes
Alaric Osiris
Alaric Pericles
Alaric Peter
Alaric Piero
Alaric Septimus
Alaric Themistocles
Alaric Wilhelm

Love Alaric, I also love Emeric and Albion.

I'd think that Aric (AIR ic) would be a good nn, since it sounds like Eric. I think that it would get a nn, since three syllables is a bit long.

I looooooooove Alaric. It's my favourite boy's name. I usually pair it with James, Anthony or Jacme, but I don't think much about combos. From yours I like:Alaric Baudelio
Alaric Fernao
Alaric Iago
Alaric Johannes
Alaric Leonard
Alaric Marius (I usually pronounce it MAH-ree-uws, but I guess in English it would be more like MAR-ee-əs)
Alaric Peter
Alaric Piero
Alaric Septimus
Alaric WilhelmI think a lot of those (Democritus, Prometheus, Themistocles for example) are way too much paired with Alaric.ETA: I'd use the nickname Al, since I love that name (probably due to Mr. Pacino). I don't think much about nicknames because I think they develop naturally, though. I guess it would get shortened with time because it has three syllables.

I kind of like Alaric... you could call him Al, but you wouldn't have to. It's not as long and complicated as some other names though. I kind of like Alaric Franz, Alaric Peter, and Alaric Wilhelm.I just think that if a kid would be named Alaric, they should have a semi-normal/popular name to balance it out a little, like Alaric James or Alaric Timothy or something.
