I absolutely adore it
But I think the Heebie-Jeebies is an inevitable association.
And this is coming from someone who would use Pandora and Ulysses.
It is gorgeous though. Maybe it could be a nickname for something along the lines of Helen Beatrice? Or Mehetabel? Or of course a middle name.
Aww, I want so badly to tell you to use it but I can only think of the teasing :(

I like it, but I don't think it's usable.
I agree with the previous posters. i think of "heebie jeebies" too. I love the name Heba and it has a nice meaning (gift). It can be spelled Hiba or Heba.
It's one spelling of a slur as well.
Hebe or heeb is, at least to my knowledge in the US, an offensive term for a Jewish person. Even with the HEE-bee pronunciation I still wouldn't go for this lookalike name. :-/

I've heard that.
I've never heard of that one.
Ever.
Weird, I'm off to google it.

You've got to be kidding me...I have never heard that one.
Yikes, that is scary.

I don't like Hebe, but i know a little girl called Heba, she's adorable and made me really like the name
I'm 44 years old. The first thing that came to my mind was "heebie jeebies." Your little Hebe doesn't stand a chance of not being constantly called this nn.
I'm sorry to say it because I adore names from Greek mythology. But I would keep this one in the mn position if I were you. Your little one will thank you.

Except I'm 23. And a lot of names from Greek mythology I find to be a bit pretentious, although very awesome.

Ditto.
But I do love it. Middle name is the way to go.
