Wilhelmina
What do you think of it? Do you see it becoming popular (again) anytime soon, or in fact, in general? What nicknames would you use for it? If you wouldn't mind, I would love some middle name ideas, and I'd love it if they could be unusual / uncommon names. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous. My only fear is that people here in the U.S. would try to pronounce it, "wil-hel-MEE-nuh" instead of "willa-MEE-nuh." But other than that, I don't see any problems. My favorite combination for it is Wilhelmina Alix. Alix, despite the link here at BtN, is the German form of Alice. Others you might like (sorry for any repeats):Wilhelmina Lucy / Lux
Wilhelmina Ines
Wilhelmina Sophie
Wilhelmina Ione
Wilhelmina Afton
Wilhelmina Fleur
Wilhelmina Liv
Wilhelmina Angele
Wilhelmina Anjou
Wilhelmina Anjali
Wilhelmina Swan
Wilhelmina Erzsebet
Wilhelmina Nadia
Wilhelmina Chenoa ("sheh-NO-uh," Nat. Am.)
Wilhelmina Aina
Wilhelmina Anais
Wilhelmina Sian
Wilhelmina Glynis
Wilhelmina Muriel
Wilhelmina Ailsa
Wilhelmina Eilidh

Thank you so much! I was wondering if anyone would like the nn Billie for a girl, but I wanted to see if it would be brought up. I agree that it's a great nn for a girl. I also like Mina, Minnie (I know that Minnie is quite sweet as a nn, but I always picture a very outgoing and colorful young woman), and Willa.
The combos you came up with are great, and there are so many I never would have thought of on my own!
Wilhelmina Alix (or Alice, for that matter) are both gorgeous. Wilhelmina Ishbel, Wilhelmina Isibeal, Wilhelmina Swan, Wilhelmina Clothilde and Wilhelmina Blanche are my absolute favorites from the bunch.I like/love*-
Wilhelmina Lux*
Wilhelmina Ines*
Wilhelmina Sophie
Wilhelmina Ione
Wilhelmina Afton
Wilhelmina Fleur
Wilhelmina Angele*
Wilhelmina Swan* -This makes me think of the Ballet.
Wilhelmina Erzsebet*
Wilhelmina Nadia* -Surprisingly I've never liked the name Nadia, but it works so well here.
Wilhelmina Chenoa ("sheh-NO-uh," Nat. Am.)

What do you think of it?I like it but I don't love it. I think it's a good name but it's unlikely I would ever use it. If I heard someone had named their child this I'd think they were pretty cool. I'm also a little fond of Wilhelmine.
Do you see it becoming popular again? No, not in English speaking countries anyway. I think it could be pretty popular in European countries if it's not already. I would imagine that most people would consider this name very old-fashioned. My prediction is that the name will have some use in the future but not enough for it to be considered popular.
What nicknames would you use for it?I wouldn't use any nicknames (I'm not a fan of nicknames). I guess the most likely nn for this name would be Mina, Minnie, Willa, Willie, and maybe Wilma?
Middle names suggestionsWilhelmina Cecily
Wilhelmina Zoe
Wilhelmina Lucille
Wilhelmina Beatrice
Wilhelmina Juliette
Wilhelmina Alexandra
Wilhelmina Camille
Wilhelmina Evan
Wilhelmina Giselle
Wilhelmina Signe
Wilhelmina Madeleine
Wilhelmina Natalie
Wilhelmina Olive
Wilhelmina Rose

It's fine, I guess. I can't see it becoming popular, but there's nothing wrong with it. Mina and Minna are cute nn's.

I don't see it becoming popular at all unless a celeb puts a death grip on it.
It isn't my style but it isn't bad. I can imagine people would say it sounds old though, which sort of makes sense as 1/4 of the women on my paternal side in my family tree have that name.
