I know a woman named Isis. She's Hispanic and pronounces it ee-sees rather than ie-sis.

I love the name Isis, I think it has a more feminine sound compared to Iris and it reminds me of the Ancient Egyptian goddess.
It's very classy, very uncommon.

My friend just named her baby this.

I love Isis, it's my second-fave GP for a girl. I remember seeing a cashier at the grocery store named Isis one time. I was pleased to see that.

I like Isis. It's a GP of mine, though it's one of those GPs I can see being used. It's one of the reasons I like Isidora so much. It's more tame, I guess.

Isis is a gorgeous name. It's on my list! That's cool that your roommate met an Isis. Although I've heard of people with the name, I don't think I've actually ever met an Isis.

I'm not a fan of Isis, I prefer slightly more obscure gods/goddesses.

Well it is a cool name. I like it too, though I think of it more as a cat's name than a person's.
