Hannah and Chloe are two of my least favorite names,

YES better than Hannah, YES better than Chloe. If you like those names, use Hanna, Hania, Hanne, Hendel, Annabel, etc., and for Chloe: Chiara, Calliope, Chloris, Cecily, etc.
However, there are so many prettier names related to/similar to Julia, like: Giulia, Iuile, Jillian, Juliana, Jilia, Jolie, Julienne, Juliet/Juliette/Julietta, Juliska, Juliya, Uliana, Joella/Joelle, Yulia/Yuliya, Julitta, Julian/Juliane, July, Juniper, Juvela, and Julija. I think one of these would be much prettier than the over-used Julia or Julie.

Like I said, I hate Hannah. Chloe's got an icky sound too... Klowee... ew. I like most names that start with Jul- though. Julia's no exception, though I prefer others.

Usually I criticise names that are too tendy/popular but there are some names that popularity just doesn't bother me. Julia, Hannah, Chloe fall into this category, along with Olivia,Lily, Abigail and Jessica.

Julia is classic and will age a lot better.

So much better than Chloe, and a tie with Hannah.

I like the name a lot. I think it's classy, lively, and pretty much problem-free. There's really not a lot of teasing you can do to it. It comes with cute nicknames Julie and Jules, and the name in itself is timeless to me. I would want to use it on my own daughter if I didn't have such a strong association with it.

I love Julia and it's a thousand times better than both Hannah and Chloe. It's timeless and gorgeous.

I love it, and it's much better than Hannah and Chloe. Like I said earlier, Hannah and Chloe don't seem to age well (though I do have a friend named Chloe who is 20). Julia on the other hand is very classy to me, and flows nicely.
