I dislike it because it is a common surname in my area.
I really like Darcy on a girl or a boy - I think it sounds beautiful and classic on both. I prefer it as a full name, though - I can't think of anything it might be a nickname for if used as an MN.

Darcy is nms for either sex but I can understand the attraction.
Don't like it. It is my favorite boy name. It sounds realllly masculine, like Percy.

I love this name! It's a name that fits a little girl, and I can also see it on an older lady.
Aw... I hoped it was for a boy. I adore Darcy for a boy. It's okay on a girl as it's a truly unisex name, but it's just not my style, because I think of Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice and that throws things off for me. I made up Darciana when I was younger, and Darcy could be a nn for that, but I think it's better on its own.

I love, love, love it! But for a boy. I do see it as a unisex name though so I don't really dislike it as a name for a girl but it's just so much better as a masculine name in my opinion.
I can't come up with a full name with the nn Darcy but I love the combo Darcy Alexander and I think Darcy Alexandra is just as nice.
Other suggesttions:
Darcy Isadora
Darcy Louise / Louisa
Darcy Madeleine

Darcy Alexander is what we are naming our first son!
