WDYTO Fenella?
On the movie show there is a presenter called Fenella and I'd just like everyone's opinion on the name. I really like it but I don't imagine calling my kids that in 20 years time. ~....:I HAVE A FOOD PROCESSOR OLDER THAN U:...~

I think Fenella is pretty and uncommon. And she can use Ella or Ellie as nn, if she want to be more mainstream. To me, fn like Madison, McKenzie, Baily and Hunter for a girl sound more strange."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I like it! It's a bit more unusual than Fionnuala and Fiona - which it's related to.

Well, I love the name Fionnuala / Finola. I think Fenella is a variant. It's OK. It kind of makes me think of fennel, though. Not the worst thing in the world. Just not the best, either.

That was pretty much my reaction too.
