I like Dawn. For some reason, I get a picture of a brown-haired girl with ice-blue eyes. Funny, because my friend whose mn is Dawn has dark blond hair and green (I think) eyes.
just various people I know w/ that name... generally positive... works nicely as a mn
It's rather attractive - I had a schoolfriend called Dawn.
My neighbour's friend (aged 81) is called Dawn, which surprises me - I didn't think anyone was called Dawn before the 1960s or so, named for a British film star called Dawn Adams.
I'd only use it (as a mn, not a fn) if the baby arrived at daybreak, and then I'd probably choose Lucy instead.

It makes me think of The Baby Sitters' Club.
I always picture a Dawn to be a girl with long, blonde hair from the 60s or 70s.

I like it. It is my aunt's name. I think it's cool.
It's a decent name, I just find it rather dull. I don't recall knowing any Dawns.

I do like it though. It's pretty, feminine and a little earthy.
