Re: Charlotte
in reply to a message by Lily8
My 6 year old cousin is Charlotte Sophie nn Lottie, so I do love the name through association. I love the nn Lottie, Charlie on a girl just doesn't appeal to me at all. It's insanely popular in the UK, where she lives- every time we went out somewhere we'd meet/hear of at least one Charlotte, and they all seemed to have brothers/cousins/friends called James! James is Lottie's twin brothers name. It's also getting quite popular her in Aus, but I'm not sure about the US. But it's a popular classic, rather than trendy populal. I know one Charlotte here, she goes by her full name. Oh and my Charlotte also get's called Lotlots occasionally, mainly by James, as well as Lottie. If Caia is said like Kaia, then I like Charlotte Caia, especially with the nickname Lottie.
