Re: Doris
It's a grandma name... literally... my grandma and my grandpa's sister were both named Doris... and would prob'ly be in their 80s now if they were still alive... like others named Doris... Don't think I've ever met one under 60 and haven't met any recently. Doesn't grab me... A friend of mine at uni's parents took her grandmothers' names (Mildred and Ann) and stuck them together to make her name and she would up being Milann... much more attractive than Mildred on a young gal imo... If I took my grandmothers and put them together (Doris and Patricia), I'd wind up with Doricia... and I think the prn. of that i in the middle would have to be changed to ee to sound ok.

Sounds too much like Doris Day or an old lady.  ·  Lumiereslove  ·  1/8/2009, 1:43 PM
