I've only heard this pronounced elzh-BYE-tah...but I wish it was pronounced elz-bee-AY-tah. I know a lady named this (pronounced the correct way).I like Elzbieta Valentina or Elzbieta Lavinia.

Ew. Why not Elizabeth? So much simpler and doesn't sound made up.

Good to see that cultural sensitivity in action . . .

Elzbieta isn't made up, nor does it sound it. It's a form of Elizabeth from a different country.

Gorgeous list. I just wanted to give special kudos to Elzbieta Rosamund. She sounds like a medieval or fairytale princess. :-)

Elzbieta CharlotteIt took me in two different directions. The first was nature themed mns like Fleur. The other was more exotic. Familiar French names seemed the best way to bring out the exotic while keeping it anchored to reality. Elzbieta could scare non-name nerds. It reminds me of a current flirtation of mine: Erzsebet ("EHR-zeh-bet"). Do you like that one?

I love Erzsebet!
