I know one girl whose name is pronounced Azura but spells it Azure. She is nice and friendly.

I think I prefer Azura- it sounds more complete.

It depends on where she lives probably but I'd say not too much.

Its hard to say- I only associate it with the girl I know who is about 22 so its hard to picture it on someone of a different age.

It doesnt have a cutsey nicknamey feel to it so I would say yes

Honestly it strikes me as the sort of name someone would adopt in adulthood to increase the glamour of her image - like a fashion model, say. But it wouldn't have to be that. It would just be a very unusual name, sort of like .. well, like Blue, say.. it would be noticed perhaps to the point of the bearer having to repeat & spell it, and comments being made "does that mean 'blue'?" or "Is that Arabic / Spanish / Jewish?" It's the sort of name that might be tricky for a shy little girl to carry (but not teased I don't think), and in young adulthood it might make a shy person seem aloof or make a flashy person seem vain (because it's so rare and therefore both "different" and noticeable). "Is that your real name?" might be another question she'd get a lot of.
It's just one of those unusual names that's so unusual that seems a tad on the flaky side. But it's not that there's anything really bad about the name itself - it's not unattractive - you'd just have to love it enough to convince your daughter it was special enough to be worth whatever attention it might accidentally get her. I think that it'd age great, because a grown woman would probably be more appreciative and proud of having such an unusual, distinctive name, and she'd have learned to wear it gracefully.
YMMV as always.. that's just my impression of the name.
