I love Tirzah, but only pronounced TEER-zə.

I read a book in which one of the main characters did not know his own wife's real name, so he called her Mara at first because she was very bitter towards him. But then he called her Tirzah because she started to love him and also because she was extremely beautiful and he found it hard to resist the attraction.

An alternate definition happens to be "fire" or something to that effect.

I think the name is beautiful, and in the case of the book I read... really sexy. =)

I think it's pretty enough, though I have trouble saying the I as you are supposed to. I don't think it really fit's with Jared, Deanna, Julia though.

That's a wonderful and unusual name. I like the sibset too.

Tirzah is really pretty. I've had it on my list for a while. I've never actually met anyone with this name.
