I actually like Flint. But it's my father's name, so maybe I'm biased. All I know is that he;s forever getting compliments on his name. People think it's cool. And to the best of my knowledge he's never run into another Flint. I certainly haven't.

One nice thing about Flint is that, though it's uncommon, everyone always knows how to spell it.

I'd pair it with a more traditional name myself. My father's name is Flint William, for instance.
