Sounds good to me. Iris Alana is my fave. Alana Rose, Alana Jade and Alana May are all nice to.

I like Alana a lot, but would rather spell it Alannah / Alanna so there's no doubt about the prn. Since it's honouring an Alan though, I don't suppose that's an option.

Alana Maeve and Alana Frances are nice from the list. I think Willow Alana is too heavy on the ls, and am not fond of Iris.

I like it. Willow Alana is nice. I also like Iris Alana, Alana Rose, Alana Isobel, Alana Pearl and Alana May. I would go with Alana as the middle name. It is a bit trendy and I can think of at least 4 ways to spell it and all those spellings are quite common.

I prefer Willow Alana. Very pretty. Willow Ellen with a double 'L' surname would be a bit much 'L'.
