I'm really having a thing for popular names right now. Don't worry, my favorites are still Estella, Aviva, Daisy, Octavia and Emmeline but first I started to like Hannah and now I am in an Amanda phase.
What do you think of Amanda ?
Currently it's quite underused. Do you think it will continue to fall ? Will it ever be out of the top 200 ? the top 500 ? the top 1000 ? or will it rise again soon, like Amy did ? Does it seem dated ? How many Amandas do you know and how old are they ? any who spell it differently ? What nicknames do they use ?
I really dislike the nn Mandy. Could that be a problem ? Do you like Amy or Manda as nicknames ? I would use it on its own. I like Amy but it is a separate name to me.
sometimes when I hear it I think "a man, duh"...do you as well ? i sometimes really hear the man in it and then it bothers me a bit.
I also like Amandine but at the moment prefer Amanda. wdyto Amandine (ah-mawn-DEEN) ? do you know any ?
