What's your opinion of Eda or Ida prn ee-da? What names could go with it?Personally I quite like it but think that maybe it's a little short. If it was spelt Ida I could see people having a hard time pronoucing it with the e sound rather than the i sound.
In my area Ida would be IE-da. For the EE-da pronunciation I would opt for the Eda spelling.Eda is okay, it's cute. I also feel it's a bit short. Perhaps as a nn? Edith, Edwina, Edina maybe?
I like it, and I prefer it over Ida. There are so many choices of mns you could use, you could pretty much just hijack the "Mary" thread that was posted after yours and use the same combinations.
