a *kind* of celebrity baby
Louise Brown, the first test-tube baby in the world, has given birth to a child of her own. The boy named Cameron was conceived naturally and without IVF.

good for her!
I remember all that controversy. Baby Louise. That takes me back a few . . . .
Cameron is a great name for a boy.
It is really something that she has had a baby, and conceived naturally. It took me a minute to sift through my reaction. IVF is nothing unusual today. But I remember how controversial it was and in my mind it's linked with today's controvery: cloning. Clones can't reproduce, at least that's my impression. I know IVF and cloning are two COMPLETELY separate things. It's just an instantaneous, gut reaction kind of thing in my mind.
Anyway, congratulations to "Baby Louise" and the father of little Cameron.
