I find it very dated, almost like Ethel.

Right now might be the perfect time to use Enid, you'd be ahead of the curve, if you believe what they say about the 100 year cycle of names. I think it's awesome! I have a great aunt called Enid and I've always liked it.
Enid Clementine is my favorite combo. Instead of Primrose how's Enid Penelope?
Another name that reminds me of Enid that I wish I could use, but is still on the old-fashioned side right now, Alma.

This is one of those names I wish I liked and really want to like, but I just find it unattractive. :-/ However, if I ever met a little Enid, I'd be thrilled, lol. Enid Primrose and Enid Clementine are particularly nice combos, btw. Also...I used to feel the same way about Vera, and just couldn't warm up to it and now I adore it. :)

I love the Ee- sound in Enid. mn Clementine is lovely.
I also love Edith (nn Edie) and Evelyn, if you want similar sounds.

Oh, I used to love Enid. It fell off my radar for some reason, but I still think it's charming. Of your combos, I like Enid Clementine best. Since Enid is rather old-fashioned and a tad masculine, I think it needs to be paired with a fresher-sounding, more feminine name - like Clementine. Florence is too old to be matched with Enid, and Primrose has always struck me as silly.

It's ugly and kind of old-fashioned.

Enid is very charming. Though, in my opinion, it would flow much better with a name ending in -a, like Isabella. :)

I like Enid, especially the meaning. I used it on a character. [Her name is Enid Maria].All of the combos are good. I especially like Enid Clementine.
