Annie
Does Annie work as a first name or is it only a nickname to you? Also, does it flow with the names Patrick and Sarah?~Sadie

It does work as a name, but I don't really like it. Maybe cute for a kitten, Just my opinion!

I like Annie as a full name. I like Sarah but not Patrick. :)

I like the name Annie and I think it works fine as a full name, not just a nn. Patrick, Sarah and Annie work great together. They'd make a nice sib set.

I think it's fine on its own. It works well with Patrick and Sarah.

Annie is such a sweet name!! If you think it is too chldlike for a grown-up you could name her Ann/Anne and call her Annie as a nn.
Annie is alright as a given name in my opinion though. It is great with the other names!!

I don't think that Annie is childish or immature, which is odd b/c I usually think that nn's can be a bit cutesy (my own included!)... However, I would encourage you to name her Anne or one of the suggested variatants based on my own experience. I go by Betsy at home, with friends, and even with co-workers once I get to know them, but I like to have the option of going by Elizabeth professionally (which I do). Hope this helps!

Please give her a full name. Annie is much too cutesy for a teenager, adult, and elderly lady.Full names for Annie:
Anne
Anna
Annabel / Annabelle / Annabella
Anastasia
Anneliese / Annelise / Annalise
Annelie
Annemarie / Annmarie
Annemaria / AnnmariaAnnie, Sarah, and Patrick are lovely together.

Well I prefer it as a nn for any Ann- name but I think Annie can work on it's own. It has been used on it's own well enough that I don't think an Annie would be constantly questioned what her full name was.And it sounds fine with Patrick and Sarah.
Go on, be evil and get lazy.

I rather like Annie as a nickname for Anne, Anna, Anneka, Annabelle, Anabella, Annelise, Anya, Anastasia or even Constance!
It's a very cute nn but is rather childish and the bearer might like the opportunity to use another name if she chooses. It does deffinatley go with Sarah & Patrick, as do the varriants! :)

Wow - strong opinions "repulsive"???? lolI think of Annie as a nickname for Anne, Anna, Annelise, etc. I would definitely choose a full first name and then use Annie as the nickname. It definitely goes with the sibset: Patrick and Sarah

I think Annie is beautiful for a first name.

I don't like it. Anna would be better. Annie is too old fashioned, and immature.

I persoanlly find it old and repulsive.

Annie is sweet for a toddler, but not mature enough for a grown up person. Anne or Anna are just as nice, and you can still use Annie as a nn if you want to. All the three (Annie, Anne and Anna) go very well with Sarah and Patrick.
