I neat local BA...
I was looking through BAs online today from the local hospitals and I came across one that was (well, I thought) very cute:Honey Mary Margaret. What do you think? If she's embarrassed by Honey, she always has Mary Margaret to fall back on.

I'd prefer Honey Margaret Mary, so that Honey and Mary aren't right after each other. I think it would flow better that way. Very cute indeed. Honey is a bit of a GP for me actually!

Honey is awful, imo.

I like this name.

It's that Honey that ruins it. Cheapens the respectable, even prim, Mary Margaret. Like taking Shirley Temple in her prime and giving her a tattoo and a blacked-out tooth.

I prefer Honey as a middle name. As in Poppy Honey (ok maybe not with Poppy as a first name) or Mia Honey (Jamie Oliver's and Kate Winslet's daughters).Honey is a sweet name but more of a nickname. It's what most guys call their girlfriends so it seems weird as a given name even though I kind of like it since I read "Gone with the Wind". Yeah it's a name I wouldn't like to have on my birth certificate at all. Mary Margaret is decent, though so I'm happy she'll have the option to go by Mary or Margaret. Definetely better than Honey Star or something like that. Still I think Honey should just be a nickname.I mean if it was paired with Star we would all think the parents were crazy and stupid for giving their daughter a stripper name but when it's paired with Mary Margaret it's great!? Doesn't make sense to me. I mean sure she has other names to use in case she dislikes Honey but her parents are still going to call her Honey. I just don't think it's that great.

My thoughts exactly.

I think its adorable. Plus who could get mad at someone with that name? Especially when they're 75. LOL. My cousins call their grandma "Honey" as a nickname (instead of grandma, etc.)

That's so cool! And you're right, who could get mad at someone with that name? :) Very sweet.

I like it!It pleases me to see someone take Honey seriously. Reminds me (for no particular reason, I admit) of Tobey Maguire's daughter Ruby Sweetheart.

I really like Honey. I realise that it sounds silly to a lot of people. But it has so many sweet (no pun intended ;) ) connotations to me that I can help but be in love with it.
