I prefer the forms Tomiri(toh-MEE-ree) and Tomiride(toh-mee-REE-deh).It's so rare that I think there would be pronunciation problems. I think it's best as a middle name.

Do you have info?Are they just different forms of Tomyris? Where did you get them from? (Sorry, just curious)I think they look a bit better because the y in Tomyris bugs me a bit. Not really though.

They are the forms used in Italian when speaking of the historical queen Tomyris. I suppose you could consult Italian translations of the ancient authors that mentioned her for proof(Herodotus, Cassiodorus, Strabo, and others).This is the Italian language wikipedia page about queen Tomyris.
