Basque Male Names
Replies
The Basque language fascinates me. It's not romance / Latin based. It seems to have emerged on its own. I have a pet theory that it is related to ancient Celtic / barbarian languages, but I've never looked into that to tell for certain. In any event, things Basque intrigue me.
As for the list of male names, Baiardo calls to me the most. I also like Balasi, Inaki (it sounds almost Greek), Jurgi and Julen.
By the way, do you know how the "x" in Basque names is supposed to be pronounced? Is it like an "s," a "sh," a "z," an "h" or maybe even like an English "x?"
