Yeah, Esperance is legit. It's proper French and archaic English; according to the Oxford English Dictionary, it used to be used as a battle cry. It's a favourite of mine--Clare Esperance is my own Esperance combo.Needless to say, I really like it. But Nancy feels too contrived for my tastes. I really like Espi, personally; I know an Esperanza "Espi," and it fits her really well. I think Nancy holds up perfectly well on its own.Array
