1. It's cute - but only as a nn and only on someone under 25
2. However I do prefer Willa over Millie/Milly as a nn for Wihelmine. Unlike Mille, I also like Willa as a full name.
3. I prefer Millie - for some reason Milly looks unfinished.

1. It's cute as a nickname2. I prefer Wilhelmina over Wilhelmine. I prefer Millie when the child is younger and Willa when she is older. If I had to choose between Millie or Willa as the full name I'd go with Willa.3. Millie

1. Millie is more like nickname than whole name for names Milagros, Milena and Mildred. 50th years old woman Millie be appealed laughably :-( (Sorry, my english is bad)2. Wilhelmina has an another nicknames like Billie, Mina..3. I prefer Milly

I heart Millie/ Milly! One of my favourite nns. Ever.2. It'd most likely be a nn for Wilhelmine. Do you prefer the nn Millie/Milly or Willa for Wilhelmine?
Millie/ Milly. Though I don't see why both couldn't be used. Nns allow for wiggle room, why not use two?3. Less important, but do you prefer the spelling Millie or Milly?
Back and forth on the spelling...today I'm going with Millie.

Good point about the nicknames!

I like this name a lot. I would prefer it on the name Wilhelmine than on Willa. I prefer it spelled Millie but I prefer this name just by itself, Millie.

- Millie. I started to prefer Milly for a little while, but Millie just looks nicer to me.

Millie (Millicent) is my boyfriend's mother's name. I used to dislike it, but it has really grown on me. I think Millie would be an ok nn for Wilhelmine. Millie is the better spelling, imo.

1.I really don't like it. I find it to be completely dated, and not in a good way.
2.I don't understand how it would be a NN for Wilhelmine. The "mil" sound doesn't exist in that particular name; I can see it being a NN for Mildred or Millicent, but not Wilhelmine.
3.Millie.

The "mil" sound doesn't exist in that particular nameTrue, but by that logic, Bobby, Bessie, Nell, etc. wouldn't make sense either, you know? The sounds exist enough in the name, I think, for it to work. But either way, I'm kind of lenient when it comes to nicknames. =PThanks!

I guess you're right. Peggy is a valid NN for Margaret, but that doesn't make sense, either. But then, I'm more...I don't know the word...traditional when it comes to NN's.

1. I like it as a nn only.2. Millie/Milly would work better in childhood at least.3. I don't mind, but my first thought was 'Millie'.
