They're GPs because even though I like them purely aesthetically, I like them as sets because of characters in things I love. Gwendolen and Cecily are Importance of Being Ernest and Travesties (written by two of my three favourite playwrights, Wilde and Stoppard). Abigail and Martha references Abigail Adams and Martha Jefferson in the musical 1776.
I'd use them together without guilt, but not as twins because it would be too much of a reference for me, I have to admit I find the idea of them together so incredibly cute though, and I usually hate matches of any kind.
Martha Dolley is an absolutely darling name, and Abigail Elizabeth is beautiful and classic.
