1. What names are you thinking of most today?
Adrian, Claudia, Charlotte, Drake
2. Yes, I think it's ok to have themed middle names in a sibset if you like all the names
3. Yes, I think it's ok to name a child after a book/movie character - even if it's really obvious and if you just like the sound of the name and image of the character. (I only disapprove if it's a character with a negative or shallow-sexualized image and the name is unique to the character. Ariel-pronounced-Aerial, Madison...)
4. I think it's already ok to call a boy Shiloh
5. I have just come across them over the years. A few I deliberately looked for - looking for particular meanings and sounds and uh, 'feelings'
6. I've had a written name list for about 5 years, although I have made "scratch pad" throwaway ones for a long time
8. Felicity is my least favourite name atm
9. Julia Morgana
14. Is there one name you'd really like to use, but feel like you can't for some reason or other?
I can't ever use Merrick because my husband doesn't care for it and besides, it's somehow not really a good name for a child of ours. But I'm still gaga about that name.
15. Do you like nature/word names or think they're a bit too weird and non-namey?
I like some, but some are too word-y. It depends on how concrete the image is, or how associated it is with larger symbolism, etc. Like, I think Sparrow is kind of dumb, but Lark is not.
