Re: Questionnaire (edited title.. wasn't sposed to be in caps)

1. What names are you thinking of most today?
>Sirius. Is it too teasing-induced?2. Do you think its ok to have themed middle names in a sibset if you like all the names?
>Well, almost all of my boys' names end in -us or -as. It wasn't really intentional, though. I guess that would be okay, depending on the names.3. Do you think its ok to name a child after a book/movie character if its not REALLY obvious, and you were passionate about the book/movie?
>I guess so. Something like Gandalf or Eragon might be a bit much, though.4. Do you think in about 8 years time it'll be ok to call a boy Shiloh?
>*winces* I won't. I hate that name, boy or girl.5. How do you find most of the names you put on your list, or have you just come across them over the years?
>I mostly just stumble across them, either on the boards or in real life, or they just pop up in my head.6. How long have you had a name list?
>Ever since I was seven, actually. I found my first name book when I was 2 and a half, just after I learned to read. XD7. Do you write fiction/film scripts etc?
>fiction.8. Whats your least favourite name atm?
>Ummm... There are lots I don't like. I guess Hurley and Shiloh.9. Whats the first combo that comes into your head right now? Quick!!!
>Elenora June. It's one of my new combos.10. Do you think pets should have pet names (e.g. Fluffy) or people names or do you not really care?
>I give them all people names. My pets are Mindy, Theophilus "Theo," Sophronia "Sophie," and Max (which, in my book, is short for Maximilian). But I don't care if people give them "pet" names.11. Whats the oddest combo (in your opinion) that you've ever liked?
>I have no idea. 12. Do you go through phases with your names, or do you tend to stick with most of them?
>Hmm, a little of both. I've stuck to Noel for a long time, but that's because it's a very important namesake.13. If you're planning on having children, how many would you want?
>5 or 6. They'll all be adopted - chances that I'll still be fertile are slim. Even slimmer that I'll be fertile enough to give birth to a healthy baby.14. Is there one name you'd really like to use, but feel like you can't for some reason or other? If so, what name and why.
>Well, Henna, because of the connotation with the ink. I can't think of anything else.15. Do you like nature/word names or think they're a bit too weird and non-namey?
>Depends on the name. I love the name June. But Rainbow is a little much.

I think Sirius is great to use... but then its on my list, so maybe I'm kidding myself thinking kids will think its cool rather than something to tease about. Lol.. I'm actually starting to like Eragon now you mentioned it. My job is delivering stuff to people's houses, and I came across one person today and they'd called their house Grindlewald.
