Deirdre is one of those elegant classics that is overlooked. My only fear is that people have a hard time pronouncing it and sometimes it comes out as "DEE-druh" or "DEER-dree." Ick. I only like the Irish pronunciation, "DEER-druh."

Deirdre is all right. It sounds old-fashioned to me, but its not as bad as, say, Florence or Ethel.

It's one of the few Celtic names I like. As concerns your combos, I find 4 names is too much. But I like Deidre Charlotte and Deidre Clementine.

I like Deirdre but I wouldn't use it because of the sorrowful connotations.
